Nick is an old hand in the rock world, having played with CROWBAR in the 1970’s, going on to a wide and varied career in music. He now finds his home on Hornby Island BC where he is actively involved in the music scene, regularly appearing in Jazz groups and producing the sweet sounds of tenor sax. When you come to one of our April concerts, show Nick your appreciation by giving him an extra huge round of applause!

April 2007: Hatrack Productions is thrilled to announce that Amber McAlonan has joined All In All It’s Just as a vocalist and acoustic guitarist. Amber is an accomplished musician. She has been singing since she was very young, and started writing music on piano, doing her first show in middle school. Amber started playing guitar when she was 16, and did a few shows in her hometown. She recently finished her first year of Jazz Music at Malaspina U., and her first demo CD can be heard on the university radio station CHLY periodically. She had a ‘wish’ posted on her MySpace page – “I’d love to have a band behind me and just wail on the mic in crazy stiletto heels!” Well Amber, you got your wish. Welcome to the All In All It’s Just family. Wail on!

Howie plays both alto and tenor sax, as well as other wind instruments, and also the keyboards. He came to us highly recommended and is a very talented player. His addition will give the band even greater flexibility and dimension than it ever had. Welcome Howie!

September 2007: On September 7th the Pink And Purple Concert was held at the Kelowna BC Community Theatre featuring All In All It’s Just and Highway Star (A Tribute To Deep Purple), giving the audience a double-feature in one evening of entertainment.

Fall 2007: It’s time for the 2nd Birthday Party held November 16th at the Seven Club in Courtenay BC. A party atmosphere saw the band wow the crowd, who energetically supplied the chorus during ‘Another Brick In The Wall’. The band played the entire Dark Side Of The Moon album, including some theatrics. Great times! Hope to see all again sometime soon.

January 2008: Hatrack Productions would like to welcome William Cooke as the official Production Manager in charge of the overall All In All It’s Just show experience. William spent many years in the Los Angeles, California, recording industry and brings with him a HUGE amount of experience in the rock music scene. You will notice a difference in the bands’ overall stage show performance from now on … all for the better! Welcome Wil.

February 2008: It was a long and tortuous wait (it has been back-ordered for a while) but our Sound Engineer, Mike Sutcliffe, now has his hands on the brand new Yamaha LS9-32 Digital Sound Mixer!! if you’ve ever seen a grown man do a happy dance .. and mean it .. then you’ll know what happened when he received delivery. The band sounded good before – very good! – but now, with the new digital sound mixer combined with the new computerized lighting controller and new video projections, the show is going to be awesome.

March 2008: Traveled down Island on March 1st to the Farquhar Auditorium in Victoria BC. The band introduced its’ new production of the show plus a new setlist at this concert. Despite a few hiccups, the crowd thoroughly enjoyed the performance and made a loud call for an encore! This concert was brought to you by 100.3 The Q! The Island’s Rock!

March 2008: It was time for another party, this time at the Filberg Centre in Courtenay BC. What a great event! The room was filled with people, the bar was busy, the band was rocking, a standing ovation at the end, you couldn’t ask for a better time had by all.

May 2008: A special show was performed May 31st at the Mex Pub in Courtenay BC. Do you like the old-time music of Pink Floyd, with no frills, no extras, just great music!? Five of the members of ALL IN ALL IT’S JUST have created a side-project to be known as “MORTALITY SEQUENCE” and presented a special show featuring the older music of Pink Floyd … everything from the beginning in the 1960s right through the 1970s, plus a few newer tunes. They performed ‘Pigs’, ‘Echoes’, ‘Eclipse’, plus all the other favorites, to standing ovations all around.

Summer 2008: A full concert was performed June 28th at the Port Theatre, Nanaimo BC. A great crowd enjoyed the performance of DARK SIDE OF THE MOON in its’ entirety, plus all the favourites. A full evening of live music, fantastic light & video show and great entertainment ended with a standing ovation and a lot of smiles on the faces of both the band and the audience.

July 2008: The members of ALL IN ALL IT’S JUST are taking a break. The band is going on sabbatical to explore new opportunities, learn new skills, and just generally kick back. The band will return, down the road, when everyone will be rested and refreshed … and probably have many stories to tell. See you then!

Spring 2009: All In All It’s Just is going to do one last show March 14 2009 at the Mex Pub, Courtenay BC, as a thank you to all the local fans and friends who have come out and supported the show in the past. The show will include a mix of music from all era’s of Pink Floyd’s history. The Mex has agreed to let us modify the room to suit the needs of such a big band and as an added feature we will be turning the whole room into a light show, not just the stage. All the lighting, video and the full band will be there to present a night to remember.

December 2010: Our good friend Doug Supple passed away on December 2 2010. He was our Lighting Engineer Extraordinaire, and the nicest person you could ever meet. His funeral service, a celebration of life, was standing-room only, overflowing into the next room. That says it all. There isn’t any better way to state what Doug meant to his family, his friends, and the community. He fought two very hard battles against the greatest scourge of all mankind: cancer. He won the first battle. He lost the second. What we’ll remember best was his battle cry before every concert setup – “Let’s do this!” Even when he wasn’t at the theatre, he was still working. Love you Doug!

September 2018: The full compliment of All In All It’s Just gathered at the Mex Pub in Courtenay BC on September 28th and 29th 2018 for the 10 YEAR REUNION CONCERT. The house was packed both nights and it was a fantastic sendoff for the most talented performance band ever to come out of the Comox Valley. Everyone involved with the band will have great memories of excellent music and good times.
